So you installed a new router and now your iAqualink does not connect? Here is what you need to do:
- Make sure your phone is signed on to a 2.4 gHz router connection. Some routers are too "helpful" and will try to offer a 5 gHz connection. A 5 gHz connection is faster, but has shorter range. The iAqualink only works on 2.4 gHz. Sometimes it helps to set up a guest network on your router and limit it to 2.4 gHz.
- Go out to the iAqualink antenna and remove the cover (two Philips head screws)
- Slide the switch from "wifi" to "wired" and back to "wifi." This erases your old router settings.
- Teach the antenna your new settings by going to the wifi settings on your phone. You will see one that says iAqualink. Sign on to that. A popup will show up with a list of wifi signals to choose from. Select yours -- remember this needs to be a 2.4 gHz signal and must be the one that your phone is already signed into.
- Put the cover back on and wait a few minutes for it to connect.
